Many people are laughing over Apple when they released the iPhone 5C recently. But who cares? It was reported that three days after the launch day, the Cupertino giant sold over 9 million units of their flagship phone! It sets a new record for most iPhone sold. Back to the Philippines, we still don’t know when these two iPhones will be officially available here. But at least, it’s available on grey market!
Again, here in the Philippines, you can avail the iPhone 5C on local online shops. For example, the popular Kimstore is selling iPhone 5C in white, blue, green, yellow, and pink for Php28,180.00. Aside from Kimstore, Widget City is offering same device for the price of Php28,500.00.
Before it was launched, some people are joking that the “C” in iPhone 5C means “Cheap”. Yes, the device was cheap…cheaper than the new iPhone 5S. But as you can see, “cheaper” doesn’t mean we can have it for something like Php15,000.00. For an average Filipino, its current price is still a little expensive. What do you think?
