As of today, I am currently running on Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I am also using the version-8-updated-to-version-9 Internet Explorer. While reading some latest news, I discovered that the newest Internet Explorer 10 – which is default for Windows 8, is now available for users like us. But it is not the final version because as far as I know, it is currently on beta.
So I decided to install it to replace the older version. After the installation, the PC restarted and configured the system regarding that update and “TADA!” IE 10!
When I tried to open it, I noticed that there is a black vertical bar, 1-cm wide on the window. Yes, every page you open using that “latest” IE has that black bar at the right side. The worst thing happened is after using it for some seconds, BSOD! The PC crashes and showed blue screen. So the PC restarted and for the second time, I tested the IE 10 again and to my surprise, same thing happened – BSOD. I uninstalled the IE 10 update and disabled the Internet Explorer from the default Windows programs.
I haven’t seen any fix for these yet. I hope some someone from Microsoft can read this. Thanks.
