The Greatest Love, Best Love, The Discovery of Affection or whatever title you would like to call it, it would still be “The Greatest Love”, the 2011 South Korean drama series!

This is a romance comedy about a former star singer named Koo Ae-jeong who fell from grace due to a lot of involvement in scandals and later finds herself entangled in a relationship with Dokgo Jin, the biggest celebrity in the country.

It was produced by MBC or Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. All About Eve, Delicious Proposal, Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in the Palace) and Jumong are some awesome TV series MBC have produced. And just like other typical Korean drama series, The Greatest Love has only 16 episodes. It was aired in South Korea from May 4, 2011 to June 23 of the same year.

The Korean actors and actresses of this drama are also promising. They have Gong Hyo Jin as Goo Ae Jung. Gong Hyo Jin has appeared on other shows like Flower Boy Ramyun Shop as cameo, Pasta, Thank You, and Hello My Teacher. The leading man was Cha Seung Won, and will play the role of Dokko Jin. He also appeared on Athena: Goddess of War and the award winning City Hall last 2009 and 2010. Yoo In Na from High Kick!, Secret Garden and Birdie Buddy will return as Kang Se Ri.

GMA Network (Channel 7) here in the Philippines will be the one who will broadcast “The Greatest Love” – with Tagalog dubbing. I am not yet sure of the time slot it will occupy. What can you say about this K-drama?
