There are several pirated CDs and DVDs here in the Philippines circulating the offline market with a Blu-ray logo into it. Walking sellers and sidewalk vendors who are mostly unaware of what the logo means says "Sir, this video is so clear and in HD because it is a blu-ray" although it was really a DVD disc with a CAM copy of the movie inside. LOL! Well obviously, that was not blu-ray because blu-ray was really far better than that. Blu-ray movies are something that can pop your eye for its high definition pictures.

Two years ago, I started looking for a 5.1 surround speaker system here in the Philippines. I visited a lot of computer stores here in Batangas, Philippines but they are just showing me 2.1 speakers which I already have. I can't believe that people working on a computer hardware shops can tell a customer that "There is no such 5.1 speaker system for PCs!" I asked them and myself "Really?!" Enough said. The title says "in Batangas" but actually, even if you're not from here, you can visit their small place and look for the type of Personal Computer you need. I visited their store, greeted no one, got a flyer and leave. I start reading their flyer and found out that PCs are really affordable here. By the way, the store name was "Intercom Computer Center" with the tagline "love your PC!". I forgot to take a picture of the store so sorry for that.

The Internet is a very powerful tool of this day. It has provided us an great way of sending information to other people. It is now very rich in multimedia that makes it more helpful. I can still remember the time that our teacher taught us about how the HTTP began with Tim Berners-Lee with his NeXT computer. And recently, after Steve Jobs' death, I learned that Jobs is the one who created the NeXT computer after his resignation at Apple Computers. Yeah, so many things happened.

In this post, I just want to share some videos that are really worth watching. They are actually music videos created by a Puerto Rican-American acoustic rock band, Boyce Avenue. The members of this band are real brothers namely Alejandro, Daniel and Fabian Manzano.

All I know is that "no one should copy that product". But when I saw the infographic below, I started to look for its wider meaning, and now I understand it clearly. I learned that patents have a very great role in the tech industry especially those in the hardware manufacturing. The LG Optimus 3D P920 was so beautiful. It has a nice and large touch-screen. I think its thickness was just right, good in the hands, not too heavy. Fast processing by its dual-core processor. This one is really awesome!

I got my first cellphone in year 2000 when I was in grade six (Philippine education system). It is a Nokia 5110 which my parents bought from my cousin as second hand. That time, I don't have anyone to text with because, few students of same age doesn't have mobile phones yet. That's why, primarily, I use my phone to contact/text my cousin from different provinces.

Yesterday, I visited SM City Batangas to look for discounted items since it is their 3-Day sale from October 14, 15 and 16. I wasn't surprised to see the overwhelming number of people inside the mall scrutinizing every product they might buy. So overcrowded! Most stores have a booth outside their main stores selling the so called "discounted items" (even though they look like not discounted at all. LOL!).

In this computer age, one of the best innovation was the miniaturization. Mobile computers are going smaller and better each version and people are capable of bringing them anywhere and anytime. Aside from that, since they are smaller in size, we can now place them on our pocket, under our pillow, beside our bed and almost everywhere.

So now, we heard of some reports that Sony Pictures are cooking something interesting about these day's most talked person - Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple. It's no other than a movie about his life or biography. After the death of Steve Jobs lasts October 4, 2011, people starts to wonder who he really is because at this time, we only just know him as a person who showcase the newest Apple products over the media.

This day might be one of the saddest moments in the tech world. During these days, Steve Jobs and his endeavors has become an everyday topic. His vision for the future are being admired by others. Through Apple, he popularized a lot of technology we haven't imagine before. From iPod, iPhone, iPad, iMac to Macbook and many other brilliant products, we can see his dedication and passion of showing us what the modern world can offer. It is just so sad that he is dead right now and we don't have anything to do with that. Condolence to Apple and to his company.

Facebook users are currently experiencing some inconvenience with their Facebook account. They are complaining that they got a lot of things to do and Facebook can't be opened on their browsers. Yes, Facebook is down today, October 6, 2011. People are now hoping to access their Facebook account on the next day October 7, 2011 since Filipinos in the Philippines have different timeline. And speaking of timeline, is this server down due to a new Facebook feature called Timeline? There are some news that Facebook will be officially implementing it and this inconvenience are some effects while they update their system. We don't know...

While others are still in frown due to disappointment on their much awaited Apple iPhone 5 which turns to be the iPhone 4S, millions on the other hand are celebrating to this newest iPhone release. The two iPhones have a similar physical features and Apple fans are maybe really waiting for something mind-blowing and an extraordinary style. But I think, that's not a problem at all. Why not give Apple more time to enhance what they have started? In fact, when it comes to features, you will surely won't be left behind with iPhone 4S. Definitely will not be! Why?

Last October 4, the tech giant Apple have released their newest iPhone. And it so sad to say that most of us are disappointed of what happened because instead of an iPhone 5, Apple showed us an iPhone 4 with the letter S at the end - iPhone 4S.
