I got my first cellphone in year 2000 when I was in grade six (Philippine education system). It is a Nokia 5110 which my parents bought from my cousin as second hand. That time, I don’t have anyone to text with because, few students of same age doesn’t have mobile phones yet. That’s why, primarily, I use my phone to contact/text my cousin from different provinces.

Most family members have cellphones. Rich and poor people can text and even a beggar stops from begging when someone texted him. LOL!
