At first, I really can't believe this thing. It is said to be a small speaker, but when I unwrapped it, it is not small but it's VERY small! It looks like a black shiny egg. This is actually an portable speaker and not an egg. LOL!

X-mini v1.1 Package contents

The X-mini capsule speakers are product of Singapore but they are manufactured in China (just like other digital products.) It weighs just like the iPod Nano at 50 grams but when you try to lift it up and feel it with your hard, it like nothing.

X-mini v1.1 Accordion-style expandable body

It has a built-in 3.5mm audio cable that will surely fit on most devices such as PC, PSP, iPhone, iPods and MP3 players. Despite of the size, it has a very awesome sound output. You can twist-and-release it to unlock the accordion-style body that will bring the bass to the next level. Actually, I am always using this device expanded, not closed. It has a volume control and an on/off switch at the side.

X-mini v1.1 built-in 3.5mm audio jack

If you're not happy with your laptop's built-in speakers, the X-mini I think is the best alternative. It is very good for adding a good bass to your music and movie playing and even for great gaming sound experience.

X-mini v1.1 with protection lid

It is said to be that X-mini speakers can last up to 6 hours or more of playback time. But I haven't tested it that long. You can charge it for 1 hour using your PC through the USB connector.

The X-mini v1.1 costs S$28.90 (Singapore Dollars), according to their site. But here in the Philippines, its price ranges from P900.00 - P1600.00 only. Yes, it is somewhat expensive but considering the quality of sound it will give you, it's worth the price.

Aside from this the X-mini comes with other capsule mono-speaker models such as X-mini II capsule speaker and the X-mini Happy capsule speaker.
