Apple has released their newest version of MacBook Air – the notebook that weighs almost nothing. And it is now available online at Apple Store Philippines. I think, you can also buy it on the nearest Power Mac Center nationwide.
Just like all other full powered laptops nowadays, the 2011 MacBook Air also uses the latest generation of Intel processors namely the core i5 and i7. Running with speed of up to 1.8Ghz and faster memory, Apple boasted that it is 2.5 times faster than the old one. The graphics card is mind-blowing because of Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor.
Just like the newest Mac Mini 2011, this MacBook Air has the latest I/O interface – the Thunderbolt I/O! Other sockets include Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire 800, three USB ports, a FaceTime HD camera, 2.1 stereo sound and a built-in microphone.
The all-flash storage feature of most Apple devices including the MacBook Air 2011 makes them more reliable, faster and more efficient. With it as storage device, accessing of data are done in no time! You don’t need to be on a well-lighted area to be able to clearly see the keyboard because now, the keyboard is backlit (which reminds me of the Alienware gaming laptops.)
Any price update? How much is the 2011’s new MacBook Air? The answer depends on the hardware specifications. Check these photos:
