I am currently reading a lot about different tablets available in the market today and comparing their features and prices is a little bit fun. I have also heard about the latest technology in broadband Internet connection which was known as 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) from Smart Philippines. And to combine those 2 things I read about, I recently saw a Samsung Galaxy Tab which supports 4G LTE. Is this thing present in the Philippines?
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE Philippines
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE is powered by Android OS (v2.2 Froyo). It has an internal memory size of 2GB with a card slot that accepts a microSD of up to 32Gb. How about the CPU? 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU, Hummingbird chipset. It also equipped with a 5MP camera (2592 x 1944 pixels) which is autofocus and has a LED flash.
So what does it mean to have the word “4G LTE” for a Samsung Galaxy Tab? Does it mean that it will be a good match for the release of LTE here in the Philippines? Maybe, you can surf the Internet with Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE on a speed of almost 100Mbps. Can we use it here? What’s your idea about this?
Price update? I once saw a website selling Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE units from U.A.E. for only $400 or around P17,265.94 (as of June 6, 2011). They even offer a free unit if you buy 2 Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE. Well, it’s all up to you.
