The first time I heard about this phone, I was like “Doesn’t it have a code name? Just like Samsung S5830 which is known as Samsung Galaxy Ace?” But when I searched the Internet for an answer to that question, I found out that this phone was also called as Galaxy 551.

First of all, Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) was powered by our favorite mobile OS – Android. It has a 3.2″ WQVGA TFT screen and a 3MP camera. That was better than a Galaxy 5 with only 2MP. Aside from those, it has A-GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth (which smartphone doesn’t have?), FM Radio support, customized TouchWiz 3.2 Social Hub and uses a Chrome browser! And what they are bragging about this phone was its stylish minimal design QWERTY slider keypad, did you like it?
For me, I don’t like phones with flip, slider nor swivel form factor. I always thought that there is a big chance that I will be having a lot of problem when the “flex” breaks. So, I always choose the candy bar style. So what about Samsung Galaxy i5510’s Philippine price this June 2011?
This smartphone originally cost P14,000 – P15,000 depending on the store you’re going to ask. We are going to ask the stores again this coming July, August, September and October. We are hoping for a price drop! Yeah!
