Last time, there are some photo-bloggers who are enjoying taking a lot of pictures to their Danbo action figure. They even created a 365-day-project that will showcase 365 different moods and pose of the said action figure (1 photo per day, for 1 year).
Of course, most of them have a good camera (a DSLR) and a perfect location to shoot. And the results are really amazing! By the way, for those who are not yet familiar, Danbo (real name: Danboard) is an anime character from Yotsuba&!, an ongoing Japanese comedy manga series by Kiyohiko Azuma.
I once dream of having that toy too. I checked every corner of the web to search for the nearest store where I can buy one here in the Philippines. But I can’t find one. I even asked the manager of a Philippine-based online store if they can order a piece of Revoltech: Danboard for me. I asked them how much it would be and told me that the bigger one will cost P2,500.00 Philippine pesos. But until now, nothing has arrived. So I forgot about the idea of obtaining a real Danbo action figure. Instead, I created my own Danbo using a Danbo design printed on paper. Here it is:

Since I can’t find any cheap or used Revoltech: Danboard here in the Philippines, I stopped craving for it. With this decision, I can save money which I can use for more important things. Or, maybe I will buy if its price drop to P300.00. LOL!
