Continuous Ink System (CIS) For Ink-Jet Printers. If you're not yet familiar with this type of printer, I would like to inform you that this is just your ordinary Epson, Canon or any other compatible ink-jet printers in the market. Continuous ink system is also known as a continuous flow system (CFS), bulk feed ink system, or an off-axis ink delivery system. This is very popular here in the Philippines.
This is a method for delivering a large and practically unlimited volume of liquid ink to a comparatively small ink-jet printhead. As stated above, many business and professional grade printers like Epson and Canon incorporate a continuous ink system in their design to increase the speed and volume of printing capacity.
Here is a photo of it:

I am craving for this ink-system, since original cartridges are very expensive at this time. I am currently using an Epson printer and I am forced to purchase a genuine ink cartridge because I can't find a refilling station which refills that type of printer. Got it? LOL! That's why, I am just waiting for all of my inks to be emptied and I will certainly convert my Epson printer to continuous ink system.
